Aims

The IPC Journal has as objectives:


• Offer a space to disseminate the advances and results of national and international scientific research in the area of social sciences and applied sciences.
• Continue to improve the quality and the impact factor to be viewed more by the scientific and academic community through original articles providing new scientific knowledge.
• Promote the international dissemination of scientific research through the indexing that the journal acquires in its trajectory.

Scope


Investigación y Pensamiento Crítico (IPC)  is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the publication of original research, systematic reviews, theoretical articles and case studies that contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the understanding of contemporary challenges from an interdisciplinary perspective.


The journal promotes the dissemination of high-quality research that provides innovative solutions, scientific evidence and methodological development in scientific, technological, social, humanistic, environmental and organizational fields, favoring the exchange of knowledge between the national and international academic community.


IPC receives original contributions in the following areas of knowledge:


• Social and Behavioral Sciences.
• Humanities.
• Education.
• Law and Political Sciences.
• Economic, Administrative and Accounting Sciences.
• Engineering and Technology.
• Architecture and Urban Planning.
• Interdisciplinary studies aimed at solving scientific, technological and social problems.

Manuscripts must present original contributions with methodological rigor, scientific relevance and potential academic or professional impact. Basic, applied and technological development research will be accepted, as long as it meets international standards of scientific quality, research ethics and peer review.

The journal will not consider for evaluation manuscripts whose content does not correspond to the defined thematic areas, popularization works, opinions without scientific support or research that does not evidence an original contribution to knowledge.
