Considering that the formation of groups by proficiency level, the use of didactic resources and mainly the practice of the language and the possibilities of exposure to it are all elements that positively influence English language learning, it is important to be able to determine through a reliable instrument the degree of presence of these elements in English programs, in order to have relevant information that would make it possible to objectively decide the adaptations to be carried out for a better development of the linguistic competencies that have been established for a specific adult English course. In this article we present an original survey, prepared by the researcher, which allows English programs to evaluate student perception of the presence of the aforementioned factors. It was tested for validity and reliability before being applied to a group of students who had completed their first year of studies at the English Center of Quality Leadership University (QLU). The information gathered through the survey revealed a high presence in the QLU program of the elements that contribute to the learning of English; it was possible to verify the favorable environment for the learning of English that prevails in the program of QLU. The majority of the students surveyed consider that the degree of presence of factors contributing to the learning of English in this program is high, while a minority of them considers that the degree of presence of such factors is medium. Also, it was possible to identify the areas of improvement so that the learning of English is even more optimal in this program; these have to do with the need for students to become more involved in the practice of English outside of the classroom either through conventional or electronic methods.
